Shun Tak-China Travel Ship Management Limited is established from the joint venture between Shun Tak Holdings Limited and China Travel International Investment Hong Kong Limited (CTII) in July 1999 - The merger of two major shipping business with the largest fleet of high-speed vessels in the Asia Pacific region, and indeed the world !
Operating under the brand name "TurboJET", Shun Tak-China Travel Ship Management Limited has 45 years of passenger shipping experience, considerable total assets of over HK $ 2 billion plus a wealth of expertise residing in its 1,700 employees.
The merger of two major shipping businesses has brought about tremendous benefits in economies of scale, operation efficiency and the pooling of technical expertise resulting in an indisputable legitimacy to the Shun Tak-CTII vision for TurboJET. And that is to provide the safest, quickest and most comfortable high-speed ferry services in the Pearl River Delta region for local and international tourists and business people alike.
In 2003, Shun Tak – China Travel Ship Management Limited invested in the “Cross Boundary Passenger Ferry Terminal” project to provide seamless air-sea inter-modal service connecting the airports of Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Macau, serving both business and leisure travelers with wider choices and greater flexibility.

TurboJET essentially offers 2 classes of service - Super and Economy.
At least 80% of each sailing consists of Economy class seats. This allows more passengers to travel at value fares. And for those looking for the ultimate in deluxe travel, Super Class offers an exclusive Waiting Lounge plus complimentary meals, snacks, drinks, newspapers and priority disembarkation.
Super Class also provides luxurious, furnished VIP cabins for up to 6 passengers, ideal for social gatherings or business meetings on the move.

Air-conditioned cabin interiors for all passengers meet high ergonomic criteria with spacious luggage areas, TV and modern amenities.
Staff are trained to the highest standards and are fully qualified to undertake their duties.Super Class also provides luxurious, furnished VIP cabins for up to 6 passengers, ideal for social gatherings or business meetings on the move.

| A Modern Fleet
The TurboJET comprises of five vessel types. The Foil Cat and Flying Cat are built by Norwegian specialists Kvaerner Fjellstrand, the TriCat by FBM Marine of the UK, the Jetfoil by Boeing and the PS-30 Jetfoil by Shanghai Simno Marine Limited. All ship builders have well-earned reputations for the building of world-class vessels which are fitted with the best in engine technology ranging from General Electric LM 500's to Rolls Royce Allison 501-KF gas turbines.

Expertise in Depth
TurboJET has a team of over 400 skilled Engineers, Technicians and staff who manages the maintenance and repair of its entire fleet of Jetfoils and Catamarans in the Company's shipyards at Stonecutter's Island in Hong Kong.
Through its team of vessel experts, TurboJET is able to embark independently on vessel construction, refurbishment, and technology development which has led to, amongst other innovations, the development of the "Night Vision System".
