Macau Express Link Service

"Macau Express Link" service provides comprehensive check-in procedure for airlines and hassle-free baggage handling. Sea-to-air transfer passengers from Hong Kong to Macau for flight connection at Macau International Airport do not need to go through immigration formalities at Macau Ferry terminal. The check-in procedure for airlines* departing from Macau International Airport will be handled at the Hong Kong Macau Ferry Terminal, Shop G02, in which a temporary boarding pass will be issued and baggage will be tagged and delivered to the designated flight. Furthermore, a transit bus will directly connect passengers between the ferry terminal and the airport. Similar procedures apply to air-to-sea transfer passengers going back to Hong Kong via Macau airport. Details as below:

Arrive at Macau International Airport Check-in Counters in Hong Kong Macau Ferry Terminal, Shop G02, for check-in procedure on airlines*. Collect a temporary boarding pass, baggage will be tagged and delivered to the designated flight and go through normal immigration formalities(Passengers should hold on-day air tickets, valid passport and visa) Arrive Macau by TurboJET. Passengers using Macau Express Link service proceed to Macau Express Link Waiting Room near Berth 2 after disembarkation Baggage would be transferred to Waiting Room for reconciliation and screening (Exempt from immigration n formalities) Transit bus ride directly to Macau International Airport Passenger Terminal Building for baggage reconciliation and go to Transfer Desk for the exchange of the airline boarding pass (excess baggage will be charged from airline, if applicable)

Arrive at Macau International Airport and pick up a Express Link Card before security check (Exempt from immigration formalities) Purchase ferry ticket/bus voucher at Macau Express Link Counter at Departure Level Baggage will be picked up by contractor to bus bay for baggage reconciliation Transit bus ride to New Macau Maritime Ferry Terminal restricted area

Remarks:

• "Macau Express Link" service fee for Sea-to-air transfer is HK$70/person
• Bus voucher for Air-to-sea transfer is HK/MOP $50/person
• Excess Baggage Charge for Sea-to-air transfer is HK$8/Kg. Excess baggage will be charged separately at airport according to airlines’ tariffs
• Excess Baggage Charge for Air-to-sea transfer is to be charged according to the published rate displayed at Macau Express Link counters

Minimum Connection Time
Sea-to-air transfer*:
Passengers should arrive Macau International Airport Check-in Counters at Hong Kong Macau Ferry Terminal, Shop G02, not less than 2 hours and 45 minutes before flight departure for check-in procedures. Connecting departure flight should not be less than 45 minutes of the schedule bus time. (please refer to the Transit Bus Schedule for the connection time between the ferry terminal and the airport)

Air-to-sea transfer:
Passengers without check-in baggage should arrive Macau Express Link Counter at Macau airport not less than 15 minutes before the departure time of the Transit Bus for ticket purchase. Passengers with check-in baggage should arrive not less than 45 minutes before the departure time of the Transit Bus.

*Please note that the minimum connection time for TurboJET sailings from Macau airport is 45 minutes and passengers should check for the Transit Bus Schedule before using the Macau Express Link service.
