Macau International Airport

Service is available at the following ferry terminals: :

• HK Macau Ferry Terminal (Shop 103, 1/F, Shun Tak Centre)
• China Ferry Terminal, Kowloon
• Tuen Mun Ferry Terminal (TurboJET Service Counter, G/F)

 

With Macau Express Link Service, sea-to-air transfer passengers to Macau for flight connection at Macau International Airport do not need to go through immigration formalities at Macau ferry terminals.  A transit bus will directly connect passengers between the ferry terminal and the airport. Similar procedures apply to air-to-sea transfer passengers going back to Hong Kong/Shenzhen via Macau Airport. Details as below:

Sea-to-Air Transfer

Air-to-Sea Transfer

1 Arrive at the Express Link Counter at HK/Shenzhen ferry terminal and present on-day air ticket and valid passport for registration. Passengers then go through normal immigration formalities 2 Arrive Macau by TurboJET. Follow the directional sign of "Express Link Service" to the waiting area after disembarkation (No need to go through immigration and customs formalities at the ferry terminal) 3 Passengers board the transit bus directly to the Express Link Central Facility at Macau International Airport.  Go through security check and then proceed to the Express Link Information Counter at the departure hall for airline check-in procedures

1 Arrive at Macau International Airport Terminal Building.  Follow directional signs to the "Express Link" ticketing counter for registration of Air-to-Sea transfer. Purchase bus voucher / ferry ticket (No need to go through immigration and customs formalities) 2 Baggage will be picked up by contractor to bus bay for baggage reconciliation and then delivered to ferry terminal 3 Passengers board transit bus directly to the restricted area of Macau Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal / Taipa Ferry Terminal for ferry boarding to Hong Kong/Shenzhen

Remarks:

• Macau Express Link service fee for Sea-to-Air transfer is HKD/RMB 165 per person ( Infants below the age of 1 are only required to pay HK/RMB$40 for the baggage handling charge each.)
• Bus voucher for Air-to-Sea transfer is HKD/MOP75 per person
• Excess Baggage Charge for Sea-to-Air transfer is HKD/RMB 8/kg. Excess baggage will be charged separately at airport according to airline's tariffs
• Excess Baggage Charge for Air-to-Sea transfer is to be charged according to the published rate displayed at Macau Express Link counters

 

Minimum Connection Time

Sea-to-Air Transfer:

Via Macau Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal: Passengers should arrive at the Express Link Counter at the upstream port not less than 4.5 hours prior to flight departure for check-in procedures. Connecting flight should not be less than 2.5 hours from the scheduled bus departure time.

 

Via Taipa Ferry Terminal: Passengers should arrive at the Express Link Check-in Counter at the upstream port not less than 4 hours prior to flight departure for check-in procedures. Connecting flight should not be less than 2 hours from the scheduled bus departure time.

Air-to-Sea Transfer:

Passengers without check-in baggage should arrive at the Express Link Ticketing Counter at Macau International Airport not less than 15 minutes before the transit bus departure time for ticket purchase. Passengers with check-in baggage should arrive not less than 45 minutes before the transit bus departure time.

 

Please note that the minimum connection time for TurboJET sailings from Macau International Airport is 45 minutes (Macau Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal) / 30 minutes (Taipa Ferry Terminal) .

 

* Passengers are advised to check the transit bus and sailing schedules before using the Express Link Service.
