Hong Kong
Nationals of most countries are not required to have visas for
transit in Hong Kong. However, some countries will need a visa and
please refer to the Immigration Department's website: www.immd.gov.hk for more
information.
Note:
"N-Kiribati" and Kiribati"Investor" passports will not be accepted
for travel to Hong Kong. Hong Kong residents with unexpired
limit of stay in Hong Kong and holding "N-Kiribati" or Kiribati
"Investor" passports may be allowed to re-enter Hong Kong
With effect from 23 January 2017, nationals of India will be
required to successfully complete online pre-arrival registration
before visiting Hong Kong visa-free. For details, please
visit the Immigration Department's website.
Macau
Macau grants visa free entry to over 50 countries or territories
for a stay of 30 to 90 days. If a visa is required, it can be
obtained upon arrival in Macau, issued by the Immigration
Department for a period of 30 days.
* With effect from 1 Sept 2008, Mainland residents travelling on
'Exit-Entry Permit for Travelling to Hong Kong and Macau' without
an exit endorsement for Macau will not be permitted to enter Macau
from Hong Kong by the Macau Authorities.
** Starting from 1 July 2010, nationals of Bangladesh, Nepal,
Nigeria, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Vietnam are required to obtain an
entry visa before arriving at Macau.

BOARDING REQUIREMENTS
Passengers should possess the
following documents before boarding:

- Valid ferry ticket which can be
purchased at Air/Sea Transfer Desk located on Level 5 Terminal 1,
HKIA. (Passengers should transit to PRD on the same day upon
arriving HKIA.)
- Valid passport and, if applicable,
visa for intended destinations

- Valid ferry ticket
- Valid air ticket with confirmed
seat for same day departure
- Passport with validity no less
than 6 months and, if applicable, visa for intended destinations /
onward destination
|
Notes for Sea-Air Transfer:
- Documented proof of holding a confirmed seat must be presented.
Itinerary is not acceptable.
- Passengers holding airline staff or family tickets will not be
accepted.
- The connecting flight departure time should be on the same day
(Passengers who connect to CX, CI, KA, GA, KL, MH, KC, PX, TR,
HX, UO or SK flight departing before 10:15am may take the last
sailing of the previous day to SkyPier).
- This route is only applicable to passengers
transiting via Hong Kong International Airport. Passengers
will not be able to enter Hong Kong and thus should ensure
that no baggage is left outside the restricted area of the
airport.
- TurboJET shall under no circumstance be held liable for any
loss arising from change or cancellation of flight by airline, or
those that result from passengers failing to comply with
requirements set out by HKAA.
- A fine of HK$2500 will be imposed by HKAA for each repatriated
passenger who failed to comply with above requirements. TurboJET
reserves the right to request passenger to indemnify the Company of
all fines payable.

SEA-TO-AIR MINIMUM CONNECTION TIME
Passengers should arrive at the SkyPier 110
minutes before flight departure to allow adequate time for
airline check-in procedures. Some airlines still maintain a
MCT of 120 minutes, please click here for the airline
list.
Passenger should ensure that their airline offers check-in
facilities at SkyPier before using the Airport Route
service.

DEPARTURE TAX REFUND PROCEDURES
Sea-to-Air passengers who have successfully completed the airline
check-in procedures at SkyPier and verified by the airline as
eligible for applying departure tax refund will be offered a tax
refund voucher. Passengers can then present the voucher at the Tax
Refund Counter after security check for on-day tax refund.
For those passengers with the tax refund voucher but for some
reasons can not apply for refund at SkyPier can contact their
respective airlines directly. For those who are eligible for tax
refund but do not have enough time to get the tax refund voucher
can fill in the tax refund application form and send it to the
Civil Aviation Department together with necessary documents.
NEW RULES FOR TAKING LIQUIDS THROUGH SECURITY
To comply with the new guidelines recommended by the Hong Kong SAR
Government, all departing flights from Hong Kong International
Airport have to adopt new measures on hand baggage restrictions
starting from March 21, 2007 (Wednesday) and please refer to
Airport Authority website: http://www.hongkongairport.com

Cabin Baggage
For all classes, each passenger (except
infants) can enjoy a free baggage allowance of one cabin bag not
exceeding 56x36x23cm (22x14x9 in) in size. These dimensions include
wheels, handles and side pockets. Different travel classes have
different weight limits: First Class - 15kg (33 lbs), Business
Class - 10kg (22 lbs), Economy Class - 7kg (15 lbs).

delivery of fragile or perishable items, keys, artwork, cameras,
money, jewellery, precious metals, silverware, medicines, drug,
dangerous goods, commercial goods, odd-sized articles, negotiable
papers, securities or other valuables, business documents,
passports and other identification documents, or samples, which are
included in your checked baggage.

Special Needs
For pregnant passengers, unaccompanied minors(UM) or passengers
need wheelchair service, prior arrangement should be made
with the respective airline.

Dangerous Goods
For safety and security reasons, dangerous goods such as
those listed below, must not be carried in passenger's baggage
(checked or unchecked):
- Attach - briefcases with installed alarm devices; or
incorporate lithium batteries and/or pyrotechnic material;
- Explosives, munitions, fireworks and flares;
- Compressed gases (flammable, non-flammable or poisonous) such
as butane, propane, aqualung cylinders, lighter fuels or refills,
aerosols;
- Flammable liquids such as paints, thinner, adhesives;
- Flammable solids such as "strike anywhere matches" and articles
which are easily ignited;
- Oxidizing substances such as bleaching powder and
peroxides;
- Poisons such as arsenic, cyanides, insecticides,
weedkillers;
- Radioactive materials;
- Corrosive materials such as mercury (which may be contained in
thermometers or blood pressure gauges), acids, alkalis and wet cell
batteries;
- Knives (including hunting knives, swords), scissors and any
other sharp objects (eg ice-pick) considered illegal by local
law;
- Any other substances which, during a flight, present a danger
not covered above, such as magnetized, offensive or irritating
materials.
Medicines and toiletries in limited quantities which
are necessary for your journey, such as hair sprays, perfumes and
medicines containing alcohol, may be carried on board. Please check
with your airline for further information.

Passengers flying via Hong Kong International Airport may check
